Job: Direct Payments Adviser.
Specialist Subject: Understanding the real issues faced by people with impairments.
Likes: Watching Arsenal, Socialising with friends, having the occasional drink and I also like listening to all types of music.
Dislikes: Getting up early in the mornings and cold tea.

Myself: Since December 2005 I have been the Direct Payments Adviser for the Surrey Heath, Guildford and Woking areas. Prior to this I worked for SILC as the Young Persons Independent Living Project Advisor. I have a degree in Human Resource Management. I have been receiving Direct Payments since 1999; I have had experience of employing personal assistants for a number of years. I have served on a number of committees, for example student council and the “SAFE” committee at the Lord Mayor Treloar College.
