Took over from Caroline Denley in July 2003, Meurig is the Direct Payments Adviser responsible for the Waverley, Runnymede and Elmbridge areas. Previously employed with Lloyds TSB in the Human Resources department, Meurig has been working with disabled people since 1998. He wrote the Lloyds TSB staff policy on disability and was a founding member of the ‘Axis Network Turning Point For People with Disabilities’; an internal support service for disabled employees. In his spare time he is a member of his local Parish Council and an enthusiastic beekeeper. And for the many people who have difficulty with his first name - it is pronounced my-rig!
