I have been a trustee of SILC since December 2023.  I have been living independently for 15 years thanks to the assistance of Personal Assistants.

I could not live the life I want if I did not have my Personal Assistants. My experience means that I am aware the difficulties of recruiting and employing the right person as a PA.

I also work full time for the NHS booking outpatients appointments for the Trauma and Orthopaedic department.
