Training for PAs

We work with highly experienced external providers to offer a range of training to help you improve your skills and knowledge. When you book a course, your details will be passed to them so that they can contact you about the course you have booked.

You can choose from online or in-person training, depending on the type of course you are interested in and how you prefer to learn.

PA Training Sessions

SILC do offer free PA training courses through Skills for Care, but the training cycle for 2024-2025 has now concluded.

We will find out if we have secured more training funding for 2025-2026 at the end of the summer.

All training courses will be posted on this page once they are confirmed. You can also follow us on Eventbrite to keep up to date when new training courses are published:   https://surreyilc.eventbrite.co.uk/

Surrey County Council do also offer some training courses via the Surrey Skills Academy. You can view the courses available HERE.

In the meantime, if you have any queries, problems or need advice in any aspect of your PA role, SILC are running a bi-monthly online PA Peer Support Group. Find out more HERE.

If you are unable to make our training dates, or have a training need that is not covered, you can search the Online Course Directory for ALL upcoming Skills for Care training courses and book all courses HERE
